Parent to Parent of New York State helps families caring for people with developmental disabilities or special healthcare needs connect with emotional support and practical information. Its one-to-one parent-matching program connects parents with an experienced parent who understands similar challenges. Families can also receive information and referrals, attend training and virtual events, and get help navigating education, healthcare, and service systems. Regional coordinators help families identify appropriate support; language availability varies by office.
