Winston Preparatory School

Winston Preparatory School is a private day school network serving students ages 8–21 with specific learning differences, including dyslexia, nonverbal learning disabilities (NVLD), and executive-functioning difficulties such as ADHD. Its individualized program combines intensive skill remediation, small classes, and daily one-to-one Focus instruction to help students strengthen academic skills while building independence, self-awareness, and self-advocacy. Winston has campuses in New York City, Long Island, New Jersey, Connecticut, and California, as well as online and Transitions programs for students ages 17–21+. Admissions are rolling and require a neuropsychological or psychoeducational evaluation; the school looks for students whose primary needs are learning-related rather than behavioral or emotional.
